Adam & Jennifer Hammond ~ Moving Sale 

After only 1½  years in Santo Domingo, Jennifer and I are being transferred to Guatemala.  We crated all of our household items to the DR 18 months ago.  Almost everything we have is nearly new and in excellent shape.  We are planning on crating most of our things to Guatemala, but would like to sell some as well.  Anything that we sell must be replaced in Guatemala, so we must sell them for prices comparable to what we would be paying for replacement there.  Anything that we don’t sell will be crated, so there isn't a whole lot of pressure on our part to sell everything, but it would help.  For these reasons, the prices are not your typical ‘yard sale’ prices, but do represent very good values compared to Dominican prices.  Especially since most everything is a really good US name brand (we typically only buy the best and keep it forever).  If you are interested in anything, please e-mail us or call.  Our e-mail address for this sale is: pulga@pray4dr.com and our home number is 809-566-7293.

Our address is Condominios Terraza Alta de Cuesta Hermosa III #A1,  Altos De Arroyo Hondo, SD

First, if you know where the American School is, the entrance to our condo is directly across from the school. 

Take Abraham Lincoln North from 27 de Febrero.  Cross over Kennedy (you will pass Diamond Mall).  After crossing Kennedy, turn right at the third traffic light.  Stay on this road until you arrive at a rotunda.  Take the 3rd road off of the rotunda (the road that will take you directly in front of Nacional).  On this road you will go down a very steep hill and around a sharp curve.  Shortly after the curve, you will see viveros (nurseries for plants) on your left and cross a tiny bridge over a creek.  Turn right immediately after the bridge.  Stay on this road until you arrive at a fork; take the right fork.  Take the first right after the fork.  You will see the American School on your right after about 500 yards.  Our entrance is directly across from the American School.  Park outside of the gate on your right.  The gatekeeper's name is Rafael.  Tell him you are here for the Pulga at Adán y Jennifer's house and he will show you where we are.

This is a 23" Toshiba Flat Panel high definition TV with a built in DVD player.  These are difficult to find in the states and impossible here.   Comes with a stand or can be mounted on the wall as pictured.  This TV is just over 1 year old and even has HDMI inputs as well as component, s-video, coax and composite inputs.  We use it with Telecable Digital cable (they don't charge extra for it) and the picture is excellent!

This stroller is a 3 in 1 Travel System.  It is an infant car seat, infant stroller, and toddler stroller.  It is in really good condition except for a few scratches from being under the airplane.  VERY CLEAN.

This is a BRAND NEW Dell Ultrasharp 20" widescreen flat-panel digital/analog monitor.  It comes with a stand or can be wall mounted as shown.  This monitor is for sale at Cecomsa for RD$23,400

This is a solid wood table and chair set.  It is very well made.  The table is only 2 months old, and the chairs are a little over a year old.  It measures 61½" by 41½"  This set is worth much more than we are asking.  The chairs alone would cost you more than our asking price for the whole set.

This is a 32" Sharp Aquos High Definition Flat-Panel TV.  Inputs: 2 HDMI, 3 Component, 2 S-Video, 2 Composite, 2 Coax, and 3 Digital audio (2 coax and 1 Optical).  This TV comes with a stand (as pictured), or can be mounted on a wall.  It is a little less than 2 years old and has very little use.  It is in perfect condition!  The last time I checked, this same TV sold at PriceSmart for RD$54,000.
